There are hundreds of places to choose from to get a tasty meal in Phuket but in my opinion this takes the cake.
This small, modest place is owned by a woman and her daughter, Jockey. Their recipes like most were passed down from over one hundred years ago. The fried chicken here is by far the best thing they serve.
You have your choice of having it with curried or white rice. You also get your choice of two different soups, tom yum or spicy chicken. I would recommend the tom yum.
Jockey hand makes these sauces every morning. Each one is different and delicious.
I wish I didn’t have to admit to eating fried chicken every day for lunch, but I do. I am lucky enough to work right across the street from this gem.
Side note, this girl, Jockey is an amazing twenty year old. She speaks English very well and loves to chat about Taylor Swift and the book she reads everyday, “How to Become a Billionare”.
Local peeps. This restaurant is open everyday, they are located right across from the pharmacy near The King Rama Park entrance and diagonal from Bantaladnuea School. Check it out. You won’t be disappointed.
